Right now, the Internet is EXTREMELY slow. And it's not just Apple's website and the rumor sites, it's everything. Everyone's probably checking out the MacBook Air, downloading iTunes/iPhone/iTouch updates, etc. Anyone else noticing this?
You can't honestly believe that an Apple announcement has ability to slow down the internet.

Surely not the behaviour of an Apple associate.
I could be wrong, but just making some observations.
How would you explain Al Gore and Bono in the video then? This is just Microsoft taking all the star power from Apple by persuasion of cash.

After a quick look at your code, I'd say you have a collapsed div.
looking at line 223
---
<div class="ngg-albumcontent">
<div class="ngg-thumbnail">
<a href="/photos/?album=all&gallery=3"><img class="Thumb" alt="thumbs img 7660 1 Photos" src="http://beforethecubicle.com/blog/wp-content/gallery/pre-trip-photo-fun/thumbs/thumbs_img_7660-1.jpg" title="Photos" /></a>
</div>
---
your class="ngg-thumbnail" doesnt clear the float so class="ngg-thumbnail" collapses, I'm guessing.
Check out the section about collapsed divs, http://css-tricks.com/all-about-floats/.

I have an apple sticker on my car. I'm thinking of getting license plates that say FF0000 since my car is bright freaking red. I'm aware that very few people will get this. :cool:

And I created a bootcamp partition and installed Windows 7 64Bit.
The problem is, it only had 2gbof RAM usable. Please help? :confused:

So I went to the store and asked if they'd have a white and black iPad2 on display so we can choose, they said yes. Oh, and they'll be excepting cash payments as well.

MyWi has always been one of my favorite apps to use on the go with my Mac and iPad(WiFi). But today it stopped working on my Mac, despite doing nothing to any settings. It says that the connection has a self assigned IP address and will not be able to connect to internet. This odd thing is that it works on my iPad still.
I really need this issue fixed ASAP so that I can use my Mac at school to do my assignments.
Thanks in advanced. :D

Hi folks,
I have an app that need a fairly complicate key array/nsdictionary list that it uses to calculate other information. The data isn't large and it needs to be accessible from several classes.
I've been reading around and people have used several methods, a singleton class , EXTERN variables, and property list.
I think apple recommends using plist?
And I would write code to populate the plist with the array. Where do I put this code, in the application didFinishedLaunching? So the xml/plist gets written or rewritten every time the application is launched?
thanks.

I would think its always safest to do a full clean install when dealing with a beta version of an OS.

Here's my 2....
I would suggest partitioning the SSD in half, and using the 2nd Partition for Scratch. The SSD is going to respond faster, than the 7200, and thus your not compromising the disk with all your images on it. At least if the SSD crashes, its just your OS, and you can restore it. Images on the other hand, if not backed up, usually go poof....
From an Image Storage standpoint, downgrading to a 5400 drive, will not be a negative. Slower spinning drives for storage, is more efficient than a higher speed drive, such as the 7200.

I believe that iMac isn't in for a batch of good luck. Reset the PRAM, PMU and I would even reinstall the RAM and whichever OS it is running.
Hope that Mac gets well soon.

Really!?! I'm in Tacoma, and when I called on Saturday they said they'd have it. They don't have a theatre, but they said that they'd be streaming it on some of their PowerMacs with the bigger screens. The guy even put me on hold to go ask. He seemed quite sure after asking.
Did they tell you they won't? Do you guys think TechTV will have it?
It looks like I won't be working, and I have nothing better to do, so I wanted to watch it.

Explain to me how this makes sense. How is a C2D MacBook going to beat out an i5 MBP?
