dude. I would call and complain.
Right now (if they're still open, which I doubt.)
Make a huge stink. They scratched your $$$$$ Powerbook.
You spent a lot of money on it, and you shouldn't have it be manhandled by Apple.
I'm disgusted that there is a BIG BLACK HAIR on it. That is just disgusting. Not as disgusting as having hair in food. You should run a DNA test on it. HeHe

It takes a while before the system recognises you have more than 250 posts, so just wait some hours, as you have made your 250th post less eight minutes ago.

I have the following items for sale. Right now it's a package deal but I may be willing to part out the V-Moda earbuds and InMotion speakers for the right price.
I've done the best I could with photos.
iPod Video 60 GB. Condition 8+
The back has little hairline scratches, it's been in a case the whole time but as you know the Agent 18 cases allow dirt to collect underneath and so there are signs of scratching. Apple said iKlear may clean up some of the scratches. I'll let the buyer do the cleaning. You can see the front has a protective cover, that is what shipped with the iPod, I just never took it off.
The iPod will be wiped, please don't anticipate any music to be on the iPod.
It comes with the following:

Stumbled upon this and re-read it. Even funnier this go around. Thought some design-people might enjoy!

It sounds like NSButton (or NSButtonCell) is shifting the NSRunLoop into a different mode while it tracks the mouse.
I'm assuming you're using either scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:target:selector:userInfo:repeats: or scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:invocation:repeats: to create your timer. These methods will only add the timer to the default run-loop mode.
Instead try using timerWithTimeInterval:target:selector:userInfo:repeats: or timerWithTimeInterval:invocation:repeats:, and then manually adding the timer to the run loop for the common mode.

Thanks guys but i have some additional questions , Is it possible that i can't get either the replacement or repair ?? And how much days will it last the reparation , approximately , if they have the parts , or if they don't have them , or a replacement (how long will it last, procedures stuff like that?? )
I can't speak from experience, but it should not last over a week, it depends whether Apple repair warehouse has that specific part that needs replacing, if they have, you should receive it within 3 working days. To get a better estimate, talk to Apple about this.

I have the previous model base 21.5'' iMac (see sig) for audio production and run even intensive Pro Tools and Logic sessions (several virtual instruments) without any problems. So I would say you're definitly good with the base i5. You might wonna upgrade to 8GBs of RAM later on if you run out of memory, but that's all I would do.
Spend those 700 bucks on something more useful, you won't notice any difference in use with the i7.

The current 8GB model does retain the 2nd gen hardware.
Using it with a headset/mic will work for Skype and other recording.
However, the 2G hardware doesn't support the VoiceOver (voice command) feature that the true 3G hardware does.

If you leave your phone on the dash on a sunny day it will get hot.:rolleyes:
ya, the black version absorbs an intense amount of sunlight, just leaving mine on a table outside caused it to overheat, on a windy day.

your machine is a core duo 1.66 it is not a core 2 duo. this limits your ram to a pair of 1gb sticks .. you can put in a t7600 cpu which is 2.33ghz but you will be stuck at 2gb ram max. here is an ebay link for a t7600 cpu
this is one of the best ebay sellers for a t7600 cpu. make sure it has pins and works in a mac mini. ie send this seller an email. I am over 95% sure the one below is right for your mac mini

Some of the alert sounds that you can use are a little quieter by nature than others. Maybe go through them and see if you can find one that is a little less obtrusive? Hope this helps! :)
looks like that's my main option, thanks,

I have the canon HF200 and love it.
I just went down to the Apple store and looked at the ipad2. I'd love to be able
to connect the 2 using the camera usb and use the ipad as a monitor.
The guy at the store said I could connect the two for downloading footage but could not use the ipad as a monitor. Is this true? Sounds such a shame, does anyone know of a work around that will make this work?
Thanks

Hi! I was using my MBA in clamshell mode when I was having the problem, but I decided to try it again, and now it seems to be fine. Huh. I wonder what the earlier problem was. Perhaps there was some kind of background process going on that I was unaware of.
Well, at least the problem is gone. ;)

Hello,
I have heard of Objective-C++ and I would like to know if this is possible in Objective-C++. Can I create IBActions that link to buttons and inside these actions I have C++. For example
-(IBAction)buttonClicked:(id)sender{
//Some C++ code
}
Would something like that work. I would like to do this because I physics engine I would like to use requires C++ and I would like to use this engine inside of a nice Cocoa app with all the interface stuff done in Objective-C.
Sincerely,
Blake

I'm pretty sure it's deserialized from the main nib which is declared in the Info.plist file. But I am at work on a PC so can't check right now.

Hi
I am thinking about getting a new GPU for my Mac Pro (Early 2008).
I run Windows 7 64bit all the time.
I plan to take out the old 8800GT and keep it safe until needed.
I am thinking about getting either a Gigabyte 460 SOC (http://www.guru3d.com/article/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-460-soc-review) or a Gigabyte 560 Ti SOC (http://www.guru3d.com/article/gigabyte-gtx-560-ti-soc-review).
It has to be Nvidia and these seem like great value for money.
I have brought a spare Mac PCI-Express power cable (http://www.welovemacs.com/9227128.html) and now have a total of two.
The reviews at Guru3d suggests that the max power needed is about 350 watts for both the 460 (http://www.guru3d.com/article/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-460-soc-review/7) and the 560 (http://www.guru3d.com/article/gigabyte-gtx-560-ti-soc-review) - or am I reading it incorrectly?!
I think I read somewhere that the Mac Pro (Early 2008) would output a total of 300 watt PCI power.
