That looks good. I don't know how a3's work as far as when you start to get bonus points but with bigadv units you have to have 10 units finished with the passkey before you get any bonus points.
Same.
Same.

Simply Computing on West Broadway are also selling it at 6PM.
They're staying open until 8PM.
I wish I could go but I have major plans that night.
Given that it's not an Apple store I'm sure they won't be giving out the t-shirts though. Us Canadians don't get any of that stuff. Being the poor cousins. Eh?
Cheers.

You give up too soon. I think theirs got to be something weird going on simply because they are sharing the same bed (server).:p

I was curious about this as well. He is asking what do those of you in line do when you have to go to the bathroom? Especially those in line by themselves?

Does anyone know whether any of the Apple retailers on E./W. Broadway in Vancouver or the Discount Mac Club in Richmond will be open after 6:00 p.m.? I work until after 7:30, especially on Fridays, so I can imagine being at the end of a long line if I were to go to one of the locations after work, especially with a fast food stop for dinner.
Is it only official Apple Stores that will be launching sales after 6:00 p.m.? I dont want to deal with the multi-hour-long border crossing that late in the evening just to go down to the Bellevue or Alderwood malls in Washington state.

What if I have the original SIM that came with the first gen iPhone still installed in the phone. Can I just re-activate that or do I still have to buy a new SIM?

Yes, in either pre designed or design from scratch you can access iPhoto or anything on your hard drive.

BetterTouchTool is definitely a must if using the magic mouse. After using the mouse for a few hours, I am returning it. I may be weird, but it's not for me. It doesn't fit my hand well.
Thanks again for helping though.

This is absolutely amazing. This could easily be frontpage news for more people to see. It would be great if more app devs got involved with this.

I've found it now.
It's under Energy Saver in System Preferences.
You can use Caffeine (http://lightheadsw.com/caffeine/) to temporarily override your Energy Saver settings, with a single mouse click. And as has already been stated, you don't need anti-virus software to protect your Mac from malware. Read the Virus/Malware link that simsaladimbamba posted.

As long as you are ok with Leopard, and running older versions of software, then it sounds like an ok deal to me as intel macs will be more money. I believe the highest a G5 can go is 10.5.8 as they cannot run Snow Leopard, and I think they can only run iLife 09 and not the latest version.

People it just a header file. It does nothing in regards to behaviour. Perhaps on app-by-app basis you could patch NSWindow with a category. But if you wanted to change the behaviour of NSWindow system-wide you'd need to patch the library inside Cocoa.framework.

I am not sure what kind of PB you have but if it is 12" then you are maxed out (I think) I know that the 15" and 17" can have 2GB. Now if you have a 15/17" and want to max it out to gain speed I would not worry about it unless you are doing lots of RAM intensive things... If you are a TRUE multitasker and always have tonnes of things open then maybe it would be good. But what I would suggest is to open activity monitor over the next week and monitor RAM usage as well as page-outs to your hard drive to see if you are low on RAM. And remember that inactive RAM to OSX is just like free RAM so don't worry if most of your little pie chart is blue! If you are not low on RAM then adding more will give you no increase in speed. Good luck to you!

It depends how you plan to do it. Are we talking a "Red vs. Blue" kind of thing with a plotline and it's more of a video game movie or are we talking like a commentary kind of thing.
If it's the first I'd say script it all out first and foremost before doing anything. Then get your footage and add the audio.
If it's the second then get your gameplay first as you never quite know what could come up. Then script it and add audio.

Some people have reported that re-installing 10.3.8 using the Combo updated from Apple's website rather than the incremental upgrade that you likely did through Software update cured stability problems with 10.3.8.
Worth a shot?
Yes,it does. That solved a lot of my problems, and kernel panics seem to have stoped. Coincidence?

Hi all, Ive just bought a couple of xeon 5160s(dual core 3ghz) off ebay (paid 60) to upgrade my 5130s(dual core 2ghz).
1 - My current cpus run at about 28-31deg C at idle, what temps should I expect from these new cpus?
2 - Can anyone suggest the best thermal paste to use? I had a look on the net and there are about 5 different options choices, all claiming to be the best.
3 - Can anyone reassure me this is worthwhile :(

I am new to ipods and am a PC guy. I have one PC at home running XP with multiple profiles for our 4 family members. Three of us have Ipods. We each have our own profile and Itunes library. We want to share some songs between users and not have to buy the same songs two or three times through the itunes store. Is that possible?
Basically, for example, if my wife has three songs that she bought, can my son copy those songs to his Ipod. If so, how do you do that?
Thanks
